This will be a full time long term Student Support Worker position, with scope to go permanent. Working days and hours for this Student Support Worker post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities Supporting students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and whole class intervention sessions Working alongside teachers to make sure targets on pupils EHCPs are being met Providing students with social, emotional and personal support when required Managing pupil behaviour effectively and following the academies behaviour policy Undertaking teaching sessions when needed The rates of pay for this Student Support Worker position will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The School An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4. The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities. Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.
