Shot Blaster Operator

Manual BlasterHSF Group are seeking a reliable Shot Blaster Operator to join our team. You will operate shot blasting equipment to remove surface contaminants/ rust from fabricated components, preparing them for paint. Working closely with our finishing team, you’ll help ensure every unit meets HSF’s high standards for finish and safety.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate manual blasting equipment safely and efficiently.Prepare and clean surfaces for painting and refurbishment.Inspect completed work to ensure surfaces meet quality standards.Maintain blasting equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.Experience & SkillsExperience with sandblasting equipment preferred but not essentialGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailPhysical stamina for working in protective gear and standing for long periodsUnderstanding of workplace safety and PPE requirementsThe Rewards / BenefitsA safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment.Overtime availableHealthcare scheme #J-18808-Ljbffr
