Responsibilities Assist the wider Estates Team with the care of the academy premises, including general maintenance duties, minor repair and refurbishment works, porterage, and supporting the Facilities Manager in ensuring the health and safety and security of a busy academy. Provide a flexible approach to working hours and duties; may cover the duties of other team members in their absence. Occasionally required to perform additional tasks. Requirements Trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good DIY skills and basic knowledge of Health & Safety Basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding Willingness to be upskilled or trained via CPD opportunities Benefits 25 days annual leave per annum, increasing to 30 days based on 5 years’ service + bank holidays Friendly and supportive team Flexible and proactive ethos Training and qualifications supported/encouraged Mileage allowance for travel between sites Paid overtime Generous pension scheme (Local Government Pension Scheme) Free, on-site parking at every site Dedicated site office Salary and Hours Permanent role, full‑time Monday to Friday.
