Here’s what you’ll do: Primary plant layouts for HV substations Equipment specifications for HV plant and associated equipment Provide engineering design input to major infrastructure projects Owner’s Engineer role on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects Provide HV design input to renewable energy projects (e.g., battery storage, solar, hydro, wind) Provide professional services to clients in the UK/Ireland and overseas Enjoy the Perks. Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: A Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience working on High Voltage design projects Experience with major utilities or developers Experience as a designer or project engineer Experience developing specifications or detailed designs for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects Experience in technical report writing Fluency in English Full driving license and access to a personal vehicle for site visits Desirable Skills & Experience Experience on multi‑discipline engineering projects Chartered accreditation or working toward status Consultancy experience Experience reviewing detailed designs and witnessing construction site activities We celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team.
