This is a hybrid role based in London, offering a blend of on‑site project work, remote delivery, and collaboration with their teams in Exeter and Manchester.You’ll work closely with executive‑level stakeholders, help shape the network strategy, and contribute to the design and support of their core and customer networks. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage ISP‑grade network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing). Configure and support BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs across multi‑tenant environments. Monitor and optimise network performance, ensuring availability and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues with minimal downtime. Assist in network automation and documentation. Provide input on strategic network upgrades and vendor selection. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver bespoke networking solutions. Work on the rollout and support of our London office network infrastructure. Requirements Proven experience as a Network Engineer in an ISP or MSP environment. Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP. Hands‑on experience with Juniper, Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar enterprise vendors. Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, etc.). Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent. Knowledge of IPv6, RIPE, or Peering platforms.
