About the Role Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Drainage Engineer to be based in Barrow‑in‑Furness to oversee our new contract with Cumbria County Council. You will be working closely with a HGV driver to clean along the highways around the region. Flexibility in regards to hours is a must, as you will be required to stay overnight on occasions and work some weekends. No two days are the same; be prepared to learn and develop along the way. As a Drainage Engineer you will assist with getting in and out of the cab to conduct work accordingly, so a hands‑on approach is needed and you must be willing to get stuck in. You will be responsible for using a company tablet on a daily basis and work outdoors for the majority of your day – a love of the great outdoors is also a must, as well as a mixture of days, nights and working away.
