About the Role As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Responsibilities Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans; ensure new needs are met and records are updated. Participate in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. Support residents with medication requirements. Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required. Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated. About You You live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Ideal Candidate NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes. At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff. Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities. Requirements DBS Disclosure check – cost covered by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
