The Role - Pastoral Tutor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pastoral Tutor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Islington. In this Pastoral Tutor role, you will provide pastoral and academic support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and personal development.

As a Pastoral Tutor, you will:

  1. Offer 1:1 and small group mentoring to support students' well-being and behaviour
  2. Work closely with students to help them build confidence and resilience
  3. Assist in developing and implementing pastoral intervention strategies
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure student success
  5. Promote positive behaviour, attendance, and engagement in school life
