Unit / Clinical Manager (Care Homes) Brought by Friends of the Elderly, a not‑for‑profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. Responsibilities Work closely with the General Manager to ensure residents receive the best possible care. Provide professional guidance and leadership to the care and nursing teams, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and resident wellbeing. Oversee care delivery, maintain accurate records and liaise effectively with external healthcare professionals. Deputise for the General Manager when required, supporting overall service management and contributing to its success. Lead incident analysis, root‑cause analysis and subsequent action planning. Qualifications Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., NMC). Proven experience in a similar role within older people’s care. Strong understanding of CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act and adult safeguarding. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience working with residents who have additional support needs and conducting root‑cause analysis reports.
