We are recognized by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) for excellence in procurement processes, receiving the Procurement Excellence Programme Award.The OpportunityThe individual will lead our skilled team in delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services.Main ExpectationsProvide procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clientsManage end-to-end procurement on major projects or programmesDevelop and enhance procurement services offered by Turner & TownsendLead and develop a team to ensure successful client outcomesManage client relationships and project deliverablesSupport business development and marketing effortsLead bid preparation and support work-winning activitiesContribute to team and business targetsThe OfferWe offer a career progression within a growing division, involving leading large projects, creating innovative solutions, and working with blue-chip organizations. We also encourage and support Chartered Status for CIPS.Qualifications and ExperienceExperience leading strategic procurement projects for public and private clientsStrong background in tendering, negotiation, and contract management (NEC, JCT)Experience in client relationship and people managementPublic procurement experience is highly desirableWillingness to work towards MCIPS accreditationDegree in construction, civil engineering, law, or procurement preferredSkillsAbility to develop strategies and documentation for large procurement projectsStrong relationship-building and issue resolution skillsExperience with supplier evaluation, commercial principles, and supply chain strategiesSkills in developing SRM strategies and activitiesAbility to manage business development and career growth activitiesBehavioursAdaptability and personal responsibilityConfidence, independence, and influenceTeam leadership and management skillsEmpathy, fairness, and consistencyAdditional InformationAll information will be kept confidential per EEO guidelines.
