Staff Nurse – Private Ophthalmic Clinic on Harley Street We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join a specialist ophthalmic team. You’ll support patients through their pre- and post-operative care and assist in Laser Refractive, Cataract, and ICL surgeries, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care. This Staff Nurse role pays £28,000 annually plus corporate benefits. Staff Nurse Key Responsibilities Pre and post-operative ophthalmic testing Order, administer and dispensing eye drops Education on how to use drops and meds Assisting the surgeon in surgery in various procedures Ordering of medical supplies Stock takes Following Care Quality Commission standards Correspondence with patients About You Registered Nurse (NMC pin required) – Diploma or Degree in Nursing Excellent communication and organisational skills Confident with computers (Word, Excel, email, databases) Flexible, proactive, and calm under pressure Staff Nurse Working Hours 42 hours per week, including a 1-hour lunch break. Shifts vary (07 : 00–15 : 30 to 12 : 00–20 : 30) with occasional Saturday work on a rota basis (around 1 in 5).
