LGV Driver - Environmental at OBM People Location: Great Yarmouth, England.Permanent position – Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. OBM is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced LGV Driver based in Great Yarmouth. This full‑time, permanent role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work within a professional and safety‑focused team. Key Responsibilities Drive and operate LGV, skip and roll‑on/roll‑off vehicles Operate tankers, ensuring safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials and products Operate curtain‑sided trailers Provide Hazpak cover using 7.5‑tonne tail‑lift and 3‑tonne vans Inspect and maintain pumps, valves, tanks, hoses, and other related equipment Deliver courteous and efficient service to all customers Complete and process all customer and regulatory paperwork accurately Follow company and statutory regulations at all times Attend team briefings and safety meetings as required Maintain high standards of housekeeping and HSEQ compliance Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by line management Minimum Qualifications Class 1 LGV Licence ADR Dangerous Goods by Road Certificate Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours Experience in road tanker operations and handling hazardous materials (flammable, corrosive, or toxic) Knowledge of waste documentation and special waste handling Strong understanding of safety procedures for tanker and waste operations Up‑to‑date knowledge of road traffic laws Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, flexible, and self‑motivated Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team Strong operational awareness and attention to detail Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Supply Chain Industries Oil and Gas #J-18808-Ljbffr
