I C Talent is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year Lead to join a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to take on a key pastoral and leadership role, supporting students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Lead and oversee the progress, behaviour, and welfare of all students within your year group.

*

Provide strong pastoral leadership and act as the main point of contact for students, staff, and parents.

*

Monitor attendance, punctuality, and academic achievement, implementing interventions where necessary.

*

Support tutors in delivering high-quality pastoral care and mentoring.

*

Lead year group assemblies and coordinate enrichment activities and events.

*

Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Department to drive student success.

*

Promote positive attitudes, high standards of behaviour, and the school’s core values.

*

Support safeguarding procedures and ensure the wellbeing of all pupils.

Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a secondary school.

*

Proven experience in a pastoral or middle leadership role (e.g., Head of Year, Pastoral Lead, Form Tutor).

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

*

A strong understanding of adolescent development and behaviour management.

*

A commitment to inclusion, high standards, and continuous improvement.
