Lead React Native Frontend Developer – EPAM Systems EPAM is looking for an experienced Lead React Native Frontend Developer to build enterprise‑grade mobile banking solutions. This role combines hands‑on technical development with team leadership, requiring a skilled professional who can write high‑quality code while leading a distributed development team to success. Responsibilities Design and implement complex React Native features for financial workflows across iOS and Android Integrate with backend APIs and microservices, ensuring code quality and adherence to enterprise standards Apply WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility and security best practices Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across mobile platforms Lead and mentor a team of Native developers across distributed locations Coordinate development activities and ensure alignment with sprint objectives Collaborate with Backend, QA and Delivery leads on cross‑functional delivery Proactively escalate blockers and provide technical guidance to support team success Requirements 8–10 years of software development including at least 4 years of hands‑on React Native experience Proven experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments Delivered enterprise mobile applications within regulated industries (banking, financial services or similar) Strong communication skills and ability to balance technical delivery with team growth Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, REST API integration and asynchronous programming Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and modern tooling Familiarity with biometric authentication, CMS integration and mobile security best practices Experience delivering payment or transaction features in financial applications Nice to have Knowledge of cloud‑native microservices architecture and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR) Experience with state management libraries, automated testing and app publishing (App Store/Google Play) Previous collaboration with offshore or nearshore teams We Offer EPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Protection benefits including life assurance, income protection and critical illness cover Private medical insurance and dental care Employee Assistance Program Cyclescheme, Techscheme and season ticket loans Various perks such as free Wednesday lunch in‑office, on‑site massages and regular social events Learning and development opportunities including in‑house training and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more Participation in discretionary annual bonus program if eligible Participation in Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) Program if eligible and hired into a qualifying level *All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom #J-18808-Ljbffr
