We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.Job DescriptionAs the Services Naval Contract Lead you will manage sales opportunities within the Naval Services Maritime Systems Transformation (MaST) contract. The contract focuses on the availability of Royal Navy warships, streamlining the support and procurement of non-combat equipment.You will take ownership from enquiry, order receipt through to delivery, support the bid process ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. Knowledge of electrical products and experience in a marine procurement would be beneficial, as would being familiar with Naval inventory.In This Role You Will Focus OnProcessing RFQ’s through the bid processProactively identify 3rd party equipment to satisfy RFQ requirementsProactively managing opportunities through the internal bid processHelping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support teamPlanning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunitiesLiaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bidsSome travel to customer meetings in the UKWe are looking for a committed and professional individual with:Knowledge of electrical products and marine systemsAn ambitious and proactive attitudeThe ability to be resourceful and deal with multiple requests, in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately at pace, in a methodical and tidy mannerThe ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work effectively independently and within a teamProven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basisAdaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicatorFluency in English, both verbal and in writingWhat Will Make You Stand OutKnowledge of electrical products in a marine environmentExperience in dealing with multiple suppliers to secure accurate and cost effective resultsMarine or Naval backgroundYou Can Expect From UsChallenging and exciting projects.A work environment where we understand that not everyone has the same expectations about their jobs, careers and work-life balance and we are happy to discuss flexibility requirements.Attractive compensation.Flexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs.
