EDSB Compliance Solutions are national providers of Fire & Security, Electrical, Mechanical and Passive Fire Services.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.From Design and Specification through to Installation and Maintenance, our focus is to deliver compliance, alongside an unbeatable level of service.We work nationally across the UK and we pride ourselves on being a flexible, client focused organisation responding quickly and efficiently to our clients needs.Our aim is to work closely with our valued clients to ensure our service delivery is exceptional at all times.We are now looking to employ a Passive Technical Surveyor to work with within the Passive Fire Estimating Team, focusing on all elements of Passive Fire with a focus on fire compartment walls and service penetrations.Duties will include, but are not limited to; Attending site and completing visual inspections, technical surveys and completion audits.Measuring up and writing the relevant specification.Undertaking audits on site.Producing reports and recommendations.Sending the surveys through to the relevant department.Once the work has been designed, checking to ensure accuracy and compliance.Provide exceptional client service.To ensure compliance with industry standards and codes of practice, company quality and compliance.Provide technical assistance, support and guidance to engineers, sub-contractors and other team members.All whilst working closely with the Passive Fire Install & Design Teams to provide excellent customer service delivery.Required Skills: The ideal candidate should have a proven background and experience of Fire stopping, installations and remedials.Be competent in undertaking technical surveys.Ideally qualified to at least IFE Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection but not essential.Client focused with the ability to delivery exceptional client service.Ability to create and build strong relationships with a professional approach.Experience in site audit software.IT literate.Design experience is ideal.Good organisational and time management skills.Good communication skills, in both verbal and written communications.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.Ability to handle multiples projects with a structured and organised approach.Have a good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install.A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.Have a flexible attitude to working hours.The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.A full driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.Willingness to go the extra mile.Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactiveness.Standard working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 45-minute lunch break. xsabvtc Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
