Superintendent / Obstetric Lead Sonographer Join to apply for the Superintendent / Obstetric Lead Sonographer role at Temple B'nai Abraham. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced individual to lead the Ultrasound Services at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital and Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda. The post is full‑time, with job‑share possibilities. Responsibilities Lead a team of 14 sonographers across two sites providing ultrasound services in nine scanning rooms. Ensure delivery of safe, effective and cost‑effective ultrasound care to patients. Maintain high standards of patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality. Manage day‑to‑day operations and oversee service delivery in partnership with the Radiology Manager and Clinical Director. Support the clinical development of staff, encouraging continuous professional growth. Collaborate with superintendent sonographers at other CTM sites to enhance the wider health board service. Support quality improvement initiatives through user group meetings and audits. Qualifications & Skills Highly experienced obstetric and general sonography skill set. Proven leadership and team‑management experience within a multi‑facility environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Desirable: ability to speak Welsh; English proficiency sufficient for all other duties. Commitment to continuous learning and CPD activities.
