Join us in Rail and you’ll help deliver projects that connect people, drive regeneration and support a greener future.Note: While you’ll start in a specific team, client‑facing roles naturally evolve over time, offering the chance to work with different clients, teams and sectors across Mace Consult as projects and priorities change.What you’ll doIn Project Management (Consultancy), you will support projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality requirements, coordinating with all relevant parties to understand and deliver project objectives set out in the project plans. Some of your key responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the project team to support the delivery of project objectives in alignment with the Project PlanPartnering with relevant stakeholders and really contributing to risk management and mitigation strategiesAssisting in tracking project changes and ensuring they are processed and formalised within agreed timeframesGathering information and conducting research as requiredUpdating and managing existing project plans, processes, and procedures to support successful project delivery under guidanceWorking effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary teamYou will also work towards gaining professional membership of a professional association, fully funded and supported by us. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace Consult offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role.
