Job Overview Security & Parking Admin Support: This challenging role requires structuring the workload, prioritising tasks, and delivering reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The successful candidate will administer a PermIT System Database, maintain additional database and Excel solutions, and ensure information accuracy and clarity. Responsibilities Confident in dealing with public. Able to communicate effectively to staff at all levels. Respond to permit application queries. Permit allocation and alterations. Monitor permit numbers in circulation. Process permit eligibility requests. Prepare appeal documentation for Appeals Panel. Allocate permits in a timely manner, including Off Peak and Peak permits. Maintain Permit Cash Payer records and contact cash payers in arrears. Prepare information for NBT to handle Application rejection Appeals. Prepare information from NBT HR to cancel permits or applications of leavers. Create reports from PermIT as requested. Maintain Resident Permit records and liaise with Residence Department. Maintain a record of Cash Permit payers. Monthly reconciliation with Head of Security, Finance/Payroll – PermIT permit reconciliation. Monthly update to Finance/Payroll on cancelled and new permit allocations. Monthly Payroll – Parking Income reconciliation. Address any other reasonable management requests. Qualifications & Person Specification NVQ Level 2 Customer Service or equivalent. GCSE or higher in English Language (spoken and written). Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably within a large organisation. Experience maintaining or administering an access control or permit management database. SIA licence or willingness to work towards one. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer service skills and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Well presented, professional, with sound judgement and integrity. Good standard of English and maths. Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook and database management experience. Experience working within the security industry is an advantage. Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and work independently. Proficiency in ICT and ability to create reports.
