The Role This is an outstanding opportunity for a practical, technically minded individual at the start of their engineering career. Although the role sits within the Technical Department, the successful candidate will gain structured exposure to all areas of the business, including: Technical projects & system design On‑site engineering and field support Water hygiene and compliance operations Equipment manufacturing, installation & commissioning Technical reporting & digital documentation Customer support, quotations and project coordination This role is ideal for someone who wants genuine progression, varied experience and the chance to develop into a well‑rounded technical professional. Key Responsibilities Support technical engineers with testing, system checks and equipment preparation Assist senior engineers on site, learning hands‑on skills in water treatment and system troubleshooting Contribute to installation and commissioning of specialist equipment Produce accurate, well‑structured technical reports and documentation Rotate through various departments to understand the full business workflow Learn regulatory requirements, safety protocols and industry best practices Ideal Candidate Profile Practical, engineering‑minded and eager to learn Interested in gaining broad experience across multiple technical disciplines Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering, applied science or a related technical field Able to demonstrate some hands‑on or practical experience (placements, workshop experience, project work, mechanical/technical tasks) Strong in written communication and capable of producing accurate technical documentation Reliable, curious, proactive and committed to long‑term development A good problem solver with a positive and professional attitude What the Employer Offers Structured, supported training plan with mentoring from experienced engineers Clear progression pathways across several departments Hands‑on work with a wide range of engineered systems and treatment technologies Opportunity to earn industry‑recognised qualifications A stable, supportive environment with long‑term career prospects Annual bonus based on company success #J-18808-Ljbffr
