Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/PlumbersOur client is a thriving water treatment company operating across the UK, delivering a range of high-quality water treatment services. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced, multi-skilled and versatile Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join their busy team in and around the Bolton area. The ideal candidate will be a qualified remedial plumber and will have extensive experience in delivering water treatment/water hygiene and remedial plumbing duties to a varied site base. Consideration will be given to applications from Wigan, Oldham, Manchester, and the surrounding areas.Qualifications/Experience:The successful applicant must have extensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment industry.Must have hands on experience carrying out remedial plumbing to a mixed portfolio of sites.NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing would be advantageous.Will be fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures/legislation and the water treatment industry.Ideally will come from a good chemical, technical and educational background.Competency in using Microsoft Office Package.Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Responsibilities include:Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing.Descaling and disinfection and tank cleans and dosing.Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results.Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.Collating and providing accurate reports.Visiting sites as per client’s requirements.The successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to carry out the work effectively and within timeline and must be flexible with regards to travelling.An attractive salary, depending on expertise, company vehicle and along with many other benefits awaits the right candidate.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry, we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.We are inundated with applications, we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
