Victim Services Coordinator Location: Thomas Hardy House, 39 London Road, EN2 6DS (Hybrid / Flexible working required) Contract: 3 month fixed term contract with possible extension Pay Rate: £22.37 PAYE per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role Enfield Council's Youth Justice Service is seeking a Victim Services Coordinator to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support to victims of youth crime. You'll play a key role in embedding restorative justice practices, ensuring victims' voices are heard, and promoting safer communities across Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-resourced, innovative, and diverse service, co-located with Children's Services and Community Safety in a state-of-the-art facility in Enfield Town. Key Responsibilities Provide victim support in line with the Victims Code of Practice. Deliver trauma-informed, restorative approaches to support children, young people, and families. Develop effective partnerships with schools, youth services, police, and community groups. Coordinate victim data and maintain accurate tracking and reporting systems. Support and promote restorative justice interventions across the borough. Contribute to the development and implementation of Enfield's Victims & Restorative Approaches Strategy. Develop and deliver community interventions and training to raise awareness of victim support work. Essential skills and experience Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with continued professional development. Experience working within the criminal justice system and/or victim support services. Skilled in engaging and supporting victims, young people, and families affected by trauma or offending behaviour. Strong partnership and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Flexible, resilient, and committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. A relevant degree (e.g. Criminology, Law, Social Sciences) or Youth Justice qualification. A clean driving licence.
