Design & Technology (DT) Teacher Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire (CV10)Contract Type: Full Time, Long TermSalary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) About the Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Nuneaton. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable). Create differentiated learning experiences to support and challenge all students, ensuring every learner achieves their potential. Maintain a safe and well‑organised workshop environment, demonstrating excellent practice in the use of tools, equipment, and machinery. Promote high standards of health and safety within all aspects of the subject area. Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and departmental development. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Proven experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school setting. A strong classroom presence and the ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities. Sound knowledge of safeguarding principles and commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment. Confidence and competence working within a workshop setting, with a clear understanding of health and safety protocols.
