Overview Join the Estates and Campus Services team at the University of Portsmouth as a Project Manager (Construction). You will be joining at an exciting time as we continue the implementation of our £250M Estate Masterplan over the next ten years. This role will lead the development, procurement and delivery of estate development and improvement projects, typically valued up to £10 million across the University’s diverse estate portfolio. The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading and managing technically complex construction and property projects in a lead project manager role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. You will have in your portfolio experience of both new build and refurbishment projects and will hold a relevant professional qualification. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to further develop their project management experience across a diverse variety of buildings and projects in a dynamic city centre environment. Please note this role will be working predominantly on campus. Hybrid working may be offered where business needs allow. Responsibilities Lead the development, procurement and delivery of estate development and improvement projects, typically valued up to £10 million. Demonstrate proven experience of leading and managing technically complex construction and property projects in a lead project manager role. Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Provide portfolio experience of both new build and refurbishment projects and hold a relevant professional qualification.
