The Planning and Materials Leader will create the Master Production Schedule and lead the execution and continuous improvement of wing to wing materials processes. They will partner with the leadership team to develop a customer focused environment that maximizes on-time delivery while minimizing inventory.Overall responsible for strategic planning, demand planning, inventory management, warehouse logistics planning, team leadership, budget management, performance management and continuous improvement within your function.Job DescriptionLead a team of planning and materials personnel in materials and operations planning, inventory, production control and procurement requirements, demonstrating strong integration with engineering and manufacturing operations teams and cross functional stakeholdersEnsures that standard materials processes and standard KPIs are used to provide the best delivery with the lowest inventory cost for the assigned areaSupport the SIOP process (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning): contribute to material procurement timing, order release timing requirements, available capacity, & lead-timesLead capacity requirements planning processes by gathering & loading information into planning tools, analyzing data, and providing regular updatesEnsure that the master schedule and production schedules are synchronized usingERP and other tools.
