Corporate Tax Senior - Harrogate, North YorkshireA well‑established accounting firm in Harrogate is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part‑qualified accountant looking to develop their corporate tax expertise while working with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.About the Role: Working within a supportive and collaborative team environment, you'll take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients while assisting with more complex matters. The role combines technical tax work with client relationship management, offering genuine progression opportunities within the firm.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare corporation tax computations and returns for a varied client baseAssist with the preparation of tax reconciliations and deferred tax calculations for statutory accountsCalculate quarterly instalment payments and manage payment deadlinesSupport on R&D tax credit claims and employee share scheme reportingRespond to client queries and provide practical tax adviceLiaise with HMRC on routine correspondence and queriesReview work prepared by junior team membersMaintain accurate time records and assist with billing processesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular communicationWhat We're Looking ForACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or part‑qualified with relevant corporate tax experienceStrong technical knowledge of UK corporation taxExperience working in an accountancy practice environmentExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyProactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experiencePrimarily office‑based role with modern facilities and free parkingCore hours 9:00-17:30 with early Friday finish (16:30)Professional development and study supportRegular team social eventsSupportive team culture with genuine career progression opportunitiesSeniority level: Mid‑Senior level | Employment type: Full‑time | Job function: Accounting/Auditing | Industries: Accounting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
