This position isn't just a job; it's a chance to blend your clinical knowledge, personal skills and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care in an environment that is as rewarding as it is challenging.Role ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist mental healthcare to offenders as part of the Mental Health In‑Reach Team.Work psychologically minded with offenders to achieve agreed goals and quality health outcomes.Deliver referral management, screening assessment, triage, evidence‑based interventions, care planning and risk assessment.Manage a mixed and challenging caseload, performing robust assessment, screening and interventions for offenders with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.Contribute to alternatives to inpatient admission and assist early discharge through high intensity interventions and complex case management arrangements.Collaborate closely with community mental health teams to share information, ensure continuity of care and implement the Care Programme Approach for all offenders as necessary.Professional ContextOxleas provides a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings across South England.
