Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers - Swindon (SN3) & Patchway (BS34) Pay Rate: £17.30 per hourOvertime: £22.19 per hourHours: 6:00am start - job finish (rotational shifts including weekends)Contract: Temporary Ongoing (Potential for Permanent Employment after 12 weeks)Location: Swindon & Patchway-based About the Role We're currently recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) Home Delivery Drivers for a major national retailer, delivering household goods across the region from depots in Swindon and Patchway. You’ll work alongside a Drivers Mate, delivering TVs, white goods, and flat-pack furniture to residential properties. This is a customer-facing, physical role that includes "room of choice" deliveries. Full training will be provided, including safe handling procedures. Before starting, drivers will complete a driving assessment, a Highway Code/Tachograph multiple-choice test, and a one-day induction. Key Responsibilities Complete multi-drop home deliveries with assistance from a Drivers Mate. Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point. Handle and move large items safely. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation. Follow all driving and safety procedures. Represent the company in a professional manner. Requirements Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or IN convictions) Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
