We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales manager to develop and expand the sales of our premium bespoke glass and barware in Europe. We are a family run, carbon positive company who work with the world’s leading spirits and drinks brands. For over 40 years we have been supplying the drinks industry, we develop glass and barware to suit their brand characteristics, budget and other requirements. We offer a complete design service from concept through to production. We supply through 3 main routes: design and distribution of premium glassware and barware to leading drinks brands and distilleries, B2B through hospitality; supplying the worlds leading hotels and bars, and lastly through online sales. Responsibilities Develop and expand our sales in Europe by identifying, managing and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of clients — from major brands and agencies to independent producers. Frequently travel throughout Europe and perhaps further afield as the business grows. As a key member of our branded and bespoke team, build strong relationships with clients from design through manufacture and supply of premium barware and glassware by understanding their buying journey. Our clients come to us for our expertise, value and bespoke service, your commitment to this will be key. Work flexibly, taking on additional tasks as and when the business requires. Skills, knowledge and experience Industry experience within B2B branding and bespoke products or FMCG working with prestigious and/or premium products. Demonstrable direct experience developing, building and maintaining international client relationships. Regional knowledge and experience of working within Europe. Additional language skills would be a benefit. Excellent presentation skills, both live and virtual, with the ability to constantly assess the needs of the customer. Proven experience running and working to targets and managing sales budgets. Keen commercial awareness with the ability to execute opportunities to drive sales and business growth into new international markets. Readiness to travel, ability to work flexibly and independently and proactively across multiple time-zones. Good numerical skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Based in the UK and located near a travel hub with the ability to attend the office near Royston, Hertfordshire, for 3 to 5 days per month. UK driving licence and right to work status. What knowledge and experience might also be useful? Experience of import and export An understanding of the drinks or glassware industry The ability to speak another European language would be advantageous Existing customer base would be advantageous. What pay and benefits do we offer?
