Field Service Technician – RGC – Wembley/Harrow – Field Based (UK) Ricoh UK – Birmingham, England, United Kingdom About Ricoh Ricoh is a global technology business. Responsibilities Provide a technical service to customers, including the maintenance and repair of Ricoh Graphic Communication and Print products, ensuring customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements. Provide a technical service for both installation and de‑installation of Ricoh Graphic Communication products, ensuring that project milestones for installations and de‑installations are achieved efficiently and contractual obligations are met, keeping customers updated on progress. Escalate technical problems promptly as specified within Service processes to minimise downtime of equipment. Maximise revenue by identifying additional business and professional service opportunities, reporting them through the correct channels. Support the management of business relationships with customers and end users to maximise customer satisfaction. Manage and control vehicle stock to improve first‑time fix levels and minimise stock losses. Qualifications Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within the Production Print sector. Excellent technical knowledge of the full range of RGC product range. Excellent problem‑solving skills and proven fault‑finding technique. Excellent knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering and use of electronic diagnostic tools. Ability to read and understand complex mechanical instructions. IT literate with networking capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑handling skills.
