The school has a supportive atmosphere with good behaviour overall, but as with any secondary setting, strong classroom management skills and a confident presence are essential to maintain a purposeful learning environment.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA deep subject knowledge and genuine passion for EnglishThe ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students of all abilitiesExcellent classroom management and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA professional approach and a commitment to maintaining the school's high standardsYou will be expected to dress smartly, setting a positive example to students from the moment you arrive.
