Thousands of customers in over 100 countries rely on us to supply precise tooling solutions based on our decades of experience, research, and engineering know-how.Job PurposeTo assist the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System to ensure structure and control within all business processes, whilst developing a culture of continuous improvement within all areas of the business.ResponsibilitiesCarry out detailed investigative internal auditsPerform Gauge CalibrationResponsible for carrying out RC/CA investigationsAssist in re-certification to ISO9001:2015Assist with certification to ISO14001:2015Be actively involved in continuous improvement groupsBe actively involved in updating the work instructions controls into our business systemsTo help with the maintenance of our current MES system: a) Ensuring that it's effective in controlling process flows; b) Programming process flows into the MES new system; c) Ensuring that robust measurement/process data is captured; d) Ensuring that captured data is analysed, highlighting any trends that might cause concern; e) Ensure that the implementation of the new system has as little impact on the business as possibleCarry out quality-based training and education for all employees when requiredNature and ScopeWorking for the Quality Manager, you will be given clear objectives but will be expected to show initiative whilst being able to respond quickly to changes in priorities.Key Performance IndicatorsCompletion of detailed Internal Audits identifying opportunities for improvementMaking sure Gauge Calibration is always up to dateReduced audit NCRs No's due to RC/CA's from detailed investigative internal auditsRe-certification to ISO9001:2015QualificationsEssential QualificationsMinimum HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalentInternal Auditing QualificationDesirable QualificationsISO9001 QualificationRoot Cause Analysis QualificationExperienceEssential ExperienceTwo years QA experience within an Engineering CompanyInvolvement in 8D InvestigationsInternal AuditingInspection Equipment CalibrationAble to read complex Engineering DrawingsUse of Root Cause analysis Tools (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)Desirable ExperienceLeading 8D InvestigationsSupplier AuditingKnowledgeEssential KnowledgeRC/CA KnowledgeISO standards & certificationDesirable KnowledgeStatistical analysis of dataSupplier AuditingBenefits and PayI Holland operate a Profit Related Payment (P.R.P.)
