Overview of Role There is an exciting opportunity to join the Warehouse team at Trafford. The role ensures the effective and efficient movement of stock (receipting, picking, put‑away and loading) within the warehouse environment while maintaining all Health & Safety and food hygiene standards. Key Accountabilities Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring that the working environment is always safe. Attend food safety, quality & integrity presentations on site. Comply with all processes and equipment in accordance with the logistics operations, operating procedures, and work instructions. Use the D365 system to ensure accurate placement and retrieval of stock, from physical handling to stock location. Ensure all orders/products are handled and assembled with care, that all RF data terminal transactions, paperwork and pallet labelling is completed on time and accurately. Ensure RF data transactions are completed and logged out as per the defined operational processes. Maintain a hygienic and orderly warehouse complying with regulatory demands for a food‑manufacturing and storage environment (clean as you go). Be aware of and work with other team members towards target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), both individually and for the team. Use the RF scanners to pick & load orders. Use the RF scanners to put away and move pallets around the warehouse environment efficiently. Complete cycle counts of racking. Work with other team members to achieve daily objectives and targets for the team and as an individual. Hand over any work in progress, equipment and the area in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner at the end of your shift. Identify issues and escalation to Team Leader. Provide cover for other team members on shift to ensure continuous productivity within the warehouse. The Right Person To be successful in your application, you must demonstrate that you are well organised and structured in managing priorities, have excellent attention to detail and are rigorous with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to work in a fast‑paced environment understanding warehouse processes. Holding a FLT (Forklift Licence) & PPT (Power Pallet Truck Licence) would be an advantage for this role.
