Join to apply for the Team Leader role at Shaftesbury Location: Northumberland and Newcastle Salary: £13 per hour Hours per week: 40 Overview At Shaftesbury Northumberland we are recruiting for a Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of the services in Pegswood and Gateshead, including supporting the staff team and the people supported. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations of supported living services in Pegswood and Gateshead. Support staff and the people supported. Provide coverage for sleep‑in sessions and receive an additional £60 per sleep‑in. Participate in the on‑call rota and receive an additional £10 per session. Act as a role model, promoting an environment that is open, enabling, inclusive, and courageous. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or a willingness to work towards this qualification. Experience in supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, or behaviors that challenge is desirable. Positive, resilient, and able to work with a caring and community‑minded workforce. Benefits Welcome bonus of £500 on completion of 12 months of employment (terms apply). Birthday card and an optional day off on your birthday, drawn from annual entitlement.
