Hatzfeld Care Ltd provides high quality residential and day care through our specialised Dementia care and residential care services. Each of our homes offers a unique environment providing high quality, consistent, responsive care in a homely, supportive setting. This role will be based at a Care Home that specialises in dementia care. We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Co‑ordinator to plan, organise, and deliver meaningful and engaging activities for residents living with dementia. The ideal candidate will have a person‑centred approach, promoting well‑being, social interaction, and cognitive stimulation to enhance residents' quality of life. Responsibilities Plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents with dementia. Promote participation in group and one-to-one activities such as arts and crafts, music sessions, reminiscence therapy, games, gentle exercise, gardening, and themed events. Work collaboratively with care staff, families, volunteers, and external entertainers to enhance the activity programme. Monitor and record resident engagement and progress, adapting activities to meet changing needs and abilities. Ensure activities are inclusive, safe, and appropriate for residents at various stages of dementia. Maintain supplies and manage the activity budget effectively. Comply with safeguarding and health & safety regulations at all times.
