This temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate, structured training, career development opportunities, and 21 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays). Key Responsibilities Carry out regular inspections, servicing, and repairs of vehicles, equipment, and plant machinery. Ensure all fleet assets are maintained to the highest standards, remain operational, and comply with Health & Safety regulations, Operator Licence requirements, and DVSA standards, minimising disruption to service delivery. Diagnose and report recurring manufacturer faults to the Workshop Supervisor or Manager. Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and support the delivery of a safe, reliable fleet. Work flexibly within shift patterns, including weekends, standby, and callouts, to ensure service coverage during core business hours. Contribute to achieving a 100% first-time MOT pass rate for fleet vehicles. Promote teamwork and collaboration, while taking responsibility for assigned tasks. Candidate Profile Holds a valid UK Driver's Licence with access to a personal vehicle. Holds a current UK Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Licence. Qualified, or willing to train, in MOT testing for Classes 4, 5, and 7. Experienced in ensuring compliance with Operator Licence and DVSA requirements for fleet vehicles. Adaptable to changing demands, with the ability to meet objectives, resolve issues, and make sound decisions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective presentation and interpersonal abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
