OverviewSenior EC&I Engineer role at Amentum. Based in Birchwood, Warrington.ResponsibilitiesProvide design support to procurement, manufacture, and installation teams.Management of CE&I design configuration baseline in response to developing project requirements and design information from the supply chain.Check and review CE&I design deliverables to programme deadlines and to relevant standards, codes, and regulations.Work with the supply chain, supporting design aspects of contracts ensuring suppliers meet client Engineering Standards; respond to Technical Queries; support production of test specification; attend Works Acceptance Testing at supplier facilities.Integrate and coordinate CE&I systems into the wider project via Building Interface Modelling (BIM), working with other engineering and non-technical disciplines.Support the project Commissioning team activities.Ensure CE&I design intent remains aligned to safety case requirements (nuclear and conventional) and that all functional requirements are met; ensure Validation and Verification is adequately managed through remaining project lifecycle.QualificationsBEng/MEng degree or HND/HNC in a relevant field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.Professional registration or working towards registration.Familiar with applicable wiring regulations and conversant with Trimble ProDesign/Amtech.Demonstrable experience in a similar role; nuclear experience is highly desirable but not essential with suitable experience.Evidence of design competence through previous work and projects.Conversant with CAE tools e.g. Autodesk AutoCAD.Our CultureWe are a safety-focused, inclusive employer that values people, integrity, and diversity.
