Let’s … Are you a proven Process Engineer wanting to play a pivotal role on UK based Water projects? Do you have experience working with multidisciplinary teams across a range of project sizes? Would you like to join a close-knit team of successful engineers with a key focus on innovation and sustainability? Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a seasoned Process Engineer to join one of our key clients, who operate within the Water industry. As Senior Process Engineer, you’ll play a key role in leading & supporting a range of UK based water projects of various sizes, from concept/Feed to commissioning. Responsibilities Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements. Identify efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits and communicate these to client and project team. Direct and mentor more junior designers and graduates. Prepare design risk assessments, reports and specifications. Carry out mass balance, process sizing and hydraulic calculations and prepare process flow diagrams, control philosophies and commissioning strategies. Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards. Ensure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded. Undertake work using formal processes and procedures. Estimate hours required for design packages. Attend and present designs at HAZOP, ALM, KM meetings and similar sessions. Qualifications & Experience Proven relevant design experience in the regulated water industry. Experience and understanding of wastewater unit processes and treatment plant, with experience of delivering process design for wastewater projects. Graduate, HND or significant experience from Technician level. Good level of IT. Strong communication skills. Results focused. Strong technical knowledge. Nice to have Chartered engineer. Experience with both clean water and wastewater. Experience of HAZOP studies ideally as HAZOP chair. Driving licence & access to vehicle.
