Blue Arrow are recruiting for PPT Drivers for a large distribution site based in Skelmersdale.To safely and efficiently operate powered pallet trucks (PPT) to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate handling and timely distribution of stock.ResponsibilitiesOperate powered pallet trucks to transport goods across the warehouse.Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care.Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to company standards.Maintain accurate records of stock movements and report discrepancies.Follow health & safety procedures at all times, including safe truck operation.Assist with general warehouse duties when required (cleaning, organizing stock).Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report faults immediately.QualificationsValid PPT license dated within the last 3 years.Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock handling.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Basic numeracy and literacy for handling documentation.Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and long shifts.Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.Knowledge of health & safety regulations in warehousing.Working HoursMonday - Friday rotating 6am‑2pm / 2pm‑10pm. Standing and operating equipment for extended periods; may involve lifting and manual handling. Warehouse environment (temperature variations, noise, busy operations).Salary£13.21 per hour – overtime paid at time and a half.
