Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Driver (LGV C+E) – Trafford Park
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Shifts: Night shifts (start times typically between 18:00 – 21:00)
Job Type: Ongoing / Ad Hoc / Flexible
Pay: £17.00 per hour PAYE | £19.05 per hour with holiday pay included

Careermakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (LGV C+E) night drivers for a major logistics operation in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking either regular ongoing work or flexible ad hoc shifts to suit their availability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Primarily trunking work with 1–2 drops per shift

* Depot-to-depot or RDC deliveries (no store deliveries)

* Ensure all loads are secured safely and vehicle checks are completed

* Adhere to driving regulations and complete all paperwork accurately

* Maintain a professional and safe driving manner at all times

Job Highlights:

* Shifts available 7 days a week – choose the days you want to work

* Consistent night shift start times (between 18:00 and 21:00)

* Weekly pay (PAYE only – no umbrella)

Candidate Requirements:

* Valid UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driving Licence

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

* Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements)

* Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations

* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

Rates of Pay:

* £17.00 per hour (PAYE)

* £19.05 per hour (including holiday pay)
