No stone left uncounted Acting as the essential link between the Land, Commercial, Technical, and Engineering teams, helping to strategise and cost alternative site solutions to maximise value. Calculating development cash flows based on anticipated start dates to accurately measure the all‑important Return on Capital Employed (ROCE). Crafting and delivering sharp, insightful overviews of completed land appraisals prior to submitting a bid—you’ll be a key voice in the room. Who You Are Experience that counts with at least 3 years of construction sector experience, ideally in an estimating, technical, or commercial role. You don't just use Microsoft Excel; you dominate it. You can build complex, reliable financial models and cashflows in your sleep. You are inherently self‑motivated, exceptionally well‑organised, and can work independently to tight deadlines without constant hand‑holding. You have a keen ability to spot roadblocks, recognise problems quickly, and implement efficient, speedy solutions. Excellent communication skills for dealing with multi‑disciplinary teams—you speak the language of finance, land, and construction fluently.
