About the Role:
TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mandarin teacher to join a secondary school near Cambridge for the remainder of the academic year. This part-time position will be for 3 days per week, starting from Easter 2025 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2025. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Mandarin and helping students develop their language skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mandarin to students of various abilities and year groups.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support students' overall development and wellbeing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin.
- Experience teaching Mandarin at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for language teaching and a commitment to student success.
