Cyber Security & Information Governance Manager Join to apply for the Cyber Security & Information Governance Manager role at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. Job Summary We’re experiencing an exciting period in Digital, Data and Technology services. The Cyber Security & Information Governance Manager is a key senior role within the DD&T leadership team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to embed a future‑proof Cyber and IG strategy. They will continuously improve the Trust’s Cyber Security and Information Governance functions, ensuring the Trust is cyber‑safe, data compliant and achieves its strategic digital priorities. This is a full‑time post. The Trust cannot provide sponsorship; applicants must have current right to work in the UK. Main duties of the job Develop and implement robust Cyber/IG strategies, policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with national frameworks such as DSPT/CAF. Lead and assure large‑scale organisational change in Cyber/IG. Champion the digital security and governance agenda at all levels. Attend key forums, including Sub‑Board and Board meetings, and represent the Trust at local, regional and national events. Support staff training and awareness programmes for Cyber Security and Information Governance. Health and wellbeing opportunities. Experience Substantial experience in IT Security and Information Governance. Minimum 5 years at senior management level in the NHS on complex issues. Track record of producing policies for large organisations. Experience interpreting NHS policies, legislation and national guidance. Experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments. Experience developing and implementing Cyber Security and IG training and awareness programmes. Ability to advise across operational and corporate departments. Qualifications Degree level education or equivalent; significant specialist training or experience in relevant technical areas. Evidence of continued professional development in relevant fields. Provision of original certificates to verify qualifications at the point of offer.
