We are looking for a Domestic Supervisor to join our team at Queen's Hospital, Romford. As a Domestic Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, timely, and cost-effective domestic service across wards and departments. You will manage and motivate a team of domestic staff, ensuring cleaning standards meet contractual and infection control requirements. Responsibilities Supervise and deploy domestic staff, creating weekly rotas and managing workloads. Monitor cleaning standards and take remedial action where necessary. Control and issue cleaning materials and equipment within budget. Recruit, train, and develop domestic staff, conducting appraisals and managing performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with payroll processes. Qualifications Experience in domestic services within a hospital or similar environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer care abilities. Good literacy, numeracy, and time management skills. Knowledge of Health and Safety and infection control standards. Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
