Established in 1992, the company offers comprehensive, safety‑focused training programmes nationwide.Role OverviewAs a Domestic Gas Repair Engineer you will work in private residential properties to identify and diagnose faults in central heating systems and carry out the necessary boiler repairs.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and diagnose faults in central heating systems.Carry out boiler repairs and maintenance.Use a multi‑meter to identify boiler faults.Maintain a high first‑time fix rate.RequirementsStrong experience with boiler breakdowns and excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.Solid understanding of basic electrical systems.CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 qualifications.Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.Excellent customer service skills.Proactive, "can‑do" attitude.Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills.Package & BenefitsBasic salary: £51,400 plus a £3,000 guaranteed bonus in the first year.40 hours per week, with annualised hours (less in summer, more in winter – consistent pay all year round).Overtime available.33 days holiday (including bank holidays) with the option to buy, sell or carry over up to a week.Sick pay & maternity/paternity pay.Company van, fuel card, tools, uniform & PPE provided.Fantastic pension with income protection cover.Access to a private, award‑winning training centre and field coaches.Up to £2,500 Smart Tech & Home Improvement salary sacrifice scheme (IKEA, Currys).Supportive team with recognition and rewards.Clear progression opportunities.EEO StatementGanymede is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
