Main duties of the job Demonstrate and develop an interest and expertise in palliative care and end of life care nursing. In conjunction with the senior nurse on duty, be responsible for the nursing care and support of an identified group of patients. Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, documenting all relevant information accurately and legibly. Ensure that a patients holistic needs are met in a person centred way. Rate of pay: £15.29 to £16.06 per hour depending on experience. >Hours of work: The hours of work are on an as and when required basis, to cover periods of sickness/annual leave. Availability of work on our Bank will obviously vary dependant on many factors within the Hospice. We must state that the Hospice is under no obligation to offer you work, and for legal reasons all work offered and accepted will be separate from the next. No mutuality of obligation shall subsist between engagements. Likewise, by joining Bank you are under no obligation to accept work when it is offered to you.
