Job Description We are seeking a Project Quality Manager to provide quality leadership, guidance, and support across assigned projects within our UKI region. This role plays a key part in ensuring the consistent implementation, communication, and improvement of AECOM's quality systems, policies, and procedures - in line with client requirements and our Integrated Management System (IMS). You will act as a quality ambassador, helping project teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence. This role reports directly to the Regional QA Lead (UKI) and may support one major project or a portfolio of similar projects. Key Responsibilities Champion and implement AECOM's quality standards across assigned projects. Provide specialist input during project start-up, including preparation of project quality and management plans. Coach and mentor Project Managers to sustain a strong quality culture. Support and execute internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with project and corporate requirements. Conduct root cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions. Gather and analyse quality performance data (KPIs, trends, etc.) and report to the Regional QA Lead. Drive Lean initiatives and quality improvement programs to reinforce continuous improvement. Support ISO certification maintenance (9001, 14001, 45001) and compliance across offices in the assigned region. Manage quality inductions, awareness sessions, and training within projects. Contribute to client feedback processes and organize quality meetings as needed. Qualifications Degree in Engineering or a related field. Certified Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 (or equivalent). Chartered Quality Professional or equivalent qualification preferred. Experience Minimum 10 years' experience in a quality assurance role within large infrastructure or engineering projects. At least 8 years as a certified Internal or Lead Auditor. Skills & Knowledge In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 implementation and auditing. Familiarity with Lean methodologies, ISO 44001 (collaborative working), ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Strong analytical and statistical reporting skills (KPIs, trend analysis). Excellent written and verbal communication in English; other languages an advantage. Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities. Personal Attributes Acts as a role model with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to quality and safety.
