The right candidate will reflect the PJ Care values of Care, Compassion and Commitment. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. * ​Lead the full month-end process and produce timely management accounts and financial reports. * ​Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, providing support where needed. * ​Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements. * ​Collaborate with other departments across the business to provide financial guidance and support. * ​Produce weekly cashflow forecasts to support liquidity management. * ​Manage annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes. * ​Coordinate year-end audits and respond to auditor requests. * ​Supervise 2–4 direct reports (depending on experience). Skills & Experience * Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or nearing completion. * ​Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, ideally with team management exposure. * ​Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial systems. * ​Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. * ​Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach. * ​Strong communication skills with the ability to lead people and convey complex financial information clearly.
