Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnering with a thriving, forward-thinking business in Hull as they look to welcome a motivated Management Accountant into their high-energy Finance Team.

In this influential Head Office role, you'll own the monthly management accounts process, gain hands-on exposure across the business, and play a key part in shaping financial performance. What You’ll Be Doing
Producing monthly management accounts, including project-level P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and key financial insights
Leading year-end preparation and working with external auditors
Creating the finance sections of monthly board reports, presenting clear and meaningful updates
Completing accurate and timely VAT returns
Reviewing and quality-checking work from assistant accountants
Supporting and developing the assistant accountant through regular 1:1s
Acting as a go-to person for finance queries, including credit control escalations
Building strong relationships across the business and with external partnersWhat We’re Looking For
AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (desirable, not essential)
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop
Team-focused with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
