Job Title: Asbestos Lab AnalystLocation: Crewe, NorthwestSalary / Benefits: £19k – £25k + Training + BenefitsLevel of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst Profile Future Select specialises in recruitment within the asbestos / environmental industry and currently has an established Asbestos Consultancy. They are looking to take on an organised and motivated Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Crewe area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working within the asbestos industry as a lab analyst, holding the P401 qualification and carrying out analysis on asbestos materials, preparing asbestos bulk samples and completing reports. Applications will be considered from: Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Birmingham, Burton upon Trent, Derby and Telford. Experience & Qualifications Must hold the P401 qualification and have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry in a laboratory position. Have extensive working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Responsibilities Carry out Asbestos Lab Analyst duties such as logging asbestos samples upon arrival to the lab. Prepare samples for analysts. Undertake analysis of fibre content. Complete analysis test sheets and reports, ensuring they are uploaded within the required timeframe. Enter data accurately into the company database. Carry out any other laboratory duties. Liaise and assist with clients. Ensure that all work is being carried out in line with company policy and Health and Safety guidelines.
